Paula G's No Frills Birthday Glamp
Have you ever wanted to attend the Round-Top Christmas Parade? Here’s your chance. Join us for a “no frills” crafty weekend at the Glamp Inn. We’re doing things a little different so keep reading for all of the details.
When: December 4-7, 2025
Where: Lone Star Glamp Inn, 4212 Texas Hwy 237, Round Top, TX 78954 (Main Building)
Cost: $375
Number of participants: 36
What to bring: Bedding, towels, toiletries, craft supplies, personal projects and one Christmas ornament to exchange. If you’re local you can also bring a lawn chair for the parade. We will try to coordinate to bring some extra chairs for those who are flying. We do not have a plan for swaps as the season is busy enough on its own. If you choose to do swaps or table gifts, that’s totally up to you. You will be seated in groups of 4 with 2 people sharing an 8 foot table.
Food: To keep the lodging cost down, we’ll be doing food a bit differently. You will be paired up with 3 other glampers to provide a meal for the group. We want to keep it simple. We will have crockpots, a griddle, microwave and electric skillet available. We will have lots of ideas for you and your group to make your meal easy. Think soups, sandwiches, salad bar, etc. If you have special dietary needs, you can be omitted from a group and provide your own food for the weekend. We will coordinate with each group to make sure we don’t have duplicate meals.
You are so generous and we know you will be tempted to bring a birthday gift for Paula G. DON’T!! LOL!!! But if you absolutely must show up with something, we are asking for $5 gift cards to Hobs Lobs or the Wal-marts. We will put these giftcards to use for Camp In The Canyon 2026.
This is a no frills event so there will be no classes, swag, prizes etc. We just want to hang out with you on this magical weekend and experience the Round Top Christmas Parade together.
When you register you will get the option to request a tee-pee or trailer, however, your request is not guaranteed. This event is double occupancy so if you do not have a glampmate, you will be paired up with someone.
We’ve set up a payment plan option. If you are not able to pay in full, use the code GLAMP at check out. This will make your deposit $75 and you can pay your remaining payments totaling $300 via paypal craftymeevents@gmail.com or venmo @paula-gresham using the friends and family method. This event is NON-REFUNDABLE! If you can’t make it, please find a replacement and we will gladly make the name change on your reservation.
